Transfers between SonicPay users happen instantly. Transfers to bank accounts typically take less than 5 seconds within the Middle East, which is significantly faster than traditional banking transfers.
What currencies can I hold in my SonicPay wallet?
You can hold multiple currencies in your SonicPay wallet, including BHD, SAR, AED, QAR, KWD, OMR, and USD. We plan to add more currencies in the future.
Are there any fees for using SonicPay?
SonicPay is free to download and creating an account is free. There are no fees for sending money to other SonicPay users. For currency conversions, we offer mid-market rates without markups. Some services like cash withdrawals or international transfers outside the Middle East may have small fees, which are always clearly displayed before you complete the transaction.
Is my money safe with SonicPay?
Yes. SonicPay is regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain and follows strict security protocols. We use bank-level encryption (AES-256) to protect your data and transactions. Your money is held in segregated accounts at regulated financial institutions.
